was doing和did谁表示先发生 谁表示后发生

没有先后发生的区别，只有时态的区别

①was doing 是表示在过去的某段时间或某个时刻正在进行某一件事，属于过去进行时

如：He  was  talking with  his  classmate  when  the  teacher  came in.

②did 是表示过去已经完成或发生的事。属于一般过去时

如：

He  talked  with  his  classmate  in  class  yesterday.

一般过去时：强调过去某一时间开始或完成的动作.过去进行时：强调过去某一时间正在进行的动作

1，What happened? The phone rang.(一般过去时)

What was Jack doing when the phone rang?

He was reading a book. (过去进行时)

What did he do when the phone rang?

He stopped reading and answered the phone. （一般过去进）

When the phone rang，he was reading.杰克在电话铃响之前已开始看书
