of the加單數還是複數，be one

be one of the後面應該加複數名詞。因為英語短語one of...的意思是......之一，那麼只能在多數中的之一。但是謂語動詞要用單數形式，因為是他們中的一個。例如，this is one of the symbols in Australia.這個是澳大利亞的象徵之一。

one of my cups is yellow.

be+one of the +形容詞最高階+可數名詞複數。所以加定語從句修飾名詞作定語。

例句：He is one of Dr Shaws patients.

他是肖醫生的病人之一。

one of的用法：

一、當one of在句首時，謂語動詞用單數。

例如：

1、One of the gangsters was caught by the police.歹徒之一被警察逮捕。

2、One of the apples has gone bad.

蘋果中有一個壞了。

二、one of+最高階+名詞複數

例如：

1、Norman Bethune is oneof China’s most famous heroes， but he wasn’t Chinese―he was Canadian.

諾爾曼白求恩是中國最著名的'英雄之一，但他不是中國人，他是加拿大人。 這裡 most 之前有 China's 這樣的限定語了，就不要 the 了。the，a 與 this，that 與 my，your 這三類限定詞， 只能用一個， 不能同時用。

2、This is oneof the best televisions on the market.

這是目前銷售的品種最好的電視機之一。

三、one of後面直接加可數名詞複數

例如：

1、She is oneof those vain people who never take others' advice.

她屬於那種自負得從不聽別人勸告的人。

2、Oneof the gangsters was caught by the police.

歹徒之一被警察逮捕。

四、one of在定語從句中的用法，看one前面有沒有定冠詞the來區分：

1、He is oneof the boys who enjoy playing basketball.

他是喜歡打籃球的男孩之一。

定語從句修飾 the boys。

2、He is the only oneof the boys who enjoys playing basketball.

他是這些男孩中唯一一個喜歡打籃球的。

one 前面有定冠詞the的時候，定語句是修飾one的，所以動詞要用單三形式。
