全班算单数还是复数

the whole class是单数的

尽管是整个班，但是只有一个班，所以是单数的。

比如：the whole class 全班

The whole class goes solid against the monitor's suggestion.

全班都反对班长的建议。

In the whole class only Mary is eligible.

全班只有玛丽最合适。

She paces the whole class in studying English industriously.
