ordinary指相貌平常的，如ordinary looking

plain明白易懂的，plain language

ordinary: 通常的，平常的

----可以这样理解：东西分3种，好的 一般的 差的 而ordinary

就是其中的那个“一般的” ，它可能不常见 它可能不寻常

但它是一般的 不是好的 不是坏的
