both后面的谓语动词怎么用

Both ...构成的短语意思是"两者都"，后面的谓语动词为复数形式。

该短语并不采用就近原则，无论靠近的名词或者代词的人称或数是怎样的，跟在短语后面的谓语动词都会使用复数形式。

Both he and she are students of the school.

Both you and Tom are my friends.

= You and Tom are my good friends.
