lookup中间加it怎么讲解

这是英语中的一种固定用法。当“动词+如up，down，in，out，on，off等表示趋向的副词”的结构有宾语时，若宾语是代词，就放在动词和副词之间若宾语时名词，则放在后面。比如说：

砍树 cut down the tree/cut it down

查词 look up the words/look them up

切猪肉 cut up pork/cut it up

把玩具扔出去 throw out toys/throw
