弗朗西斯·培根（英文：Francis Bacon，1561年1月22日—1626年4月9日），第一代聖阿爾本子爵（1st Viscount St Alban），英國文藝復興時期散文家、哲學家。英國唯物主義哲學家，實驗科學的創始人，是近代歸納法的創始人，又是給科學研究程序進行邏輯組織化的先驅。主要著作有《新工具》、《論科學的增進》以及《學術的偉大復興》等。

Previously the most expensive work sold at auction was Francis Bacon's 1969 triptych "Three Studies of Lucian Freud，" which sold for$ 142.4m at Christie's in November 2013.
