rate和grade的區別

1、rate可以表示“速度”，還可以表示“率”率，使各種百分率，如birth rate（出生率），death rate(死亡率)，the rate of production(生產率)等。

People learn not only in different ways but at differentrates. 人們不僅學習的方式不同，而且學習的速度也不同。

The ratesof interest is 6 cents on the dollar. 利率是一美元6釐。

2、grade意爲“比，比率，比例”，之數學上的比例關係，結構通常是the grade of A to B(A與B之比，A與B的比例)例。

grade是可數名詞，複數爲grades。

The grades of 1 to 5 and 20 to 100 are the same. 1比5同20比100的比例是相同的。
