例句：

If your car should need any attention during the first 12 months， take it to an authorized dealer.

如果您購買的汽車在前12個月內可能需要保養的話，請把它交給授權經銷商

①if從句謂語用should do形式，主句可以是陳述語氣、祈使語氣，也可以是虛擬語氣。

If it should rain tomorrow， they will stay at home. 陳述語氣

If it should rain tomorrow， stay at home. 祈使語氣

If it should rain tomorrow， they would stay at home. 虛擬語氣

②而 shall 用於第3人稱，表示“義務，權力，警告，” 或者表示說話者的意圖、告誡、威脅、命令、決心、註定的結果等，意爲“應該必須一定會一定要”。

如：

He shall be sorry for it one day， I tell you.  有一天他會後悔的， 我告訴你。 

As a man sows， so he shall reap.  種瓜得瓜， 種豆得豆。

He shall have a bicycle for his birthday.  他可以得到一架自行車作爲生日禮物。

He will die before he shall disgrace himself.  他寧肯死而決不受侮辱。
