count和quantity區別

區別一：兩者讀音不同。

quantity：英 [ˈkwɒntəti] 美 [ˈkwɑ:ntəti]

count：英 [ˈcʌmbə(r)] 美 [ˈnʌmbɚ]

區別二：兩者詞性不同。

quantity：只能做名詞。

例句：In terms of quantity， bananas are more than apples.從數量上看，香蕉比蘋果多。

count：既可做名詞，又可做動詞。

例句：

1、I seem to remember that Sam told a number of lies.我好像記得薩姆說過不少謊話。

2、Listen， number each count， and write the name of the occupation under the picture.聽一聽，給圖片標號，在圖片下面寫出職業的名字。

區別三：兩者含義不完全相同。
