是雙賓動詞

find可以有兩個賓語（間接賓語和直接賓語），也可以接賓語加補足語。

如：

Would you find me a carton? 你替我找一個紙箱來好嗎

由於find可接賓語加補語，所以有的句子有兩種譯法。

如：

I"ve found him a good assistant. 我替他找了一個好助手。/ 我發現他是一個好助手。

:find 後面接雙賓語，近賓是物件，遠賓是狀態。遠賓什麼都能接，就是不接 動詞不定式

①賓語+現在分詞作賓語補足語。

如：

I found him lying on the floor. 我發現他躺在地板上。

I found him standing at the door. 我發現他正站在門口。

②賓語+過去分詞作賓語補足語。如：

He found the door locked. 他發現門鎖上了。

He found the city much changed. 他發現這個城市發生了巨大的變化。

③賓語+介詞短語作賓語補足語。如：

We found her in tears. 我們發現她在哭泣。

We found the map quite out of date. 我們發現這地圖已完全過時。

I found the boy hiding behind the door. 我發現這個小男孩躲在門後。

另外還要注意“find+形式賓語it+賓語補足語”結構。

如：

I find it easy to get on with her. 我發現她很容易相處。

He found it easy to earn extra money. 他發現賺點外快很容易。

I found it interesting being back at school again. 我發現再次回到學校很有意思。

He found it hard to finish the work in time. 他發現要及時完成這項工作很困難
