什麼時候用more和most

以下兩種情況需要用到more  most：

一，many  much的比較級是more，表示更多。

most是many  much的最高級，表示最多。

如

He'd like more time to think things over.

他希望有更多的時間把情況考慮周詳。（比較級）

They couldn't give me any more information.

他們不可能給我提供更多的信息。（比較級）

There were 50 people there， at the very most.

那兒最多隻有50個人。（最高級）

二，多音節單詞的形容詞及副詞的比較級前加more，最高級前加most。

如

He spokemore loudly and with more vehemence than he had intended.

他演講得比自己預想的聲音更響亮，語調也更激烈。（比較級）

This technique is becoming more refined and more acceptable all the time.

這項技術變得越來越精密和受人歡迎。（比較級）

It is the most important .

這才是最重的。（最高級）

That book is the most interesting among the three books.

那本書是這三本書中最有趣的。

在使用比較級的時候，或者使用最高級的時候可以使用這兩個詞，比如説什麼比什麼好，可以使用more，什麼是個其中的最好的使用most。
