either or和both and有什么区别

either 是两者中任何一个的意思，either A orB 意为或者A 或者B，不是A就是B，谓语动词依据就近原则，例如:Either your father or your mother helps you do this. helps '和your mother 保持一致。both 意思为两者都，both  A and B意思是A和B两个都，谓语动词按复数对待，例如:Both Li Ming and Wang Mei are students.

①either…or…，意为"或者…或者…""不是…就是…"，表示的是两者中的其中一个，是选择关系。如:When the girl is happy， she either sings or dances.当这个女孩高兴的时候，她要么唱歌要么跳舞（唱歌、跳舞二选一）。

注意:就近原则！它连接两个主语，谓语动词应与最近的一个主语人称和数量保持一致。如:Either you or I am going to the park tomorrow.要么是你要么是我，明天要去公园一趟（因为我在后面，离谓语动词近，因此谓语动词用am而不用are）。

②both…and…，意为"…和…"是两者都得意思。如:Both you and I are students.你和我都是学生（两者都，没有选择关系）

注意:谓语动词都是复数形式，而没有就近原则。

both .意为“两者两个双方”（谓语动词用复数）

如：

Both John and Ann are good at French.

...或者.或者.，不是.就是.

He is either a doctor or a teacher.

连接两个并列主语是，谓语动词与其靠近的主语一致.

Either you or he hs to go there.

neither……nor.既不.也不.谓语动词与其靠近的主语一致

如：

Neither he nor I am good at English.

none of 没有人（物），指三个或三个以上都不是，谓语动词可以是单数形式，也可以是复数形式.

如：None of them like/ likes playing basketball.

either or：指两者之间的其中一个怎么样

neither nor：指两者其中一个不怎么样

none of：三者及三者以上都不怎么样
