end和result的区别

两者意思相同，但侧重点不同。

end中文意思，是...的结束，注重于事情的“结束”

result中文意思，是....的结果，突出经过努力，奋斗，事情发展后的状态，定性“结果”

例如，They were elated at the result.

他们对这一结果感到欢欣鼓舞。

It was the end of a long combat.

那是一场长时间搏斗的结束。

It's nearly the end of term.

end作名词是端、末端、末尾、结束、最后的意思，例如Love you till the end。

当然end也可以作动词，表示终结、终止。

而result指结果，某件事的发生导致的结果。
