①if从句谓语用should do形式，主句可以是陈述语气、祈使语气，也可以是虚拟语气。

If it should rain tomorrow， they will stay at home. 陈述语气

If it should rain tomorrow， stay at home. 祈使语气

If it should rain tomorrow， they would stay at home. 虚拟语气

②而 shall 用于第3人称，表示“义务，权力，警告，” 或者表示说话者的意图、告诫、威胁、命令、决心、注定的结果等，意为“应该必须一定会一定要”。

如：

He shall be sorry for it one day， I tell you.  有一天他会后悔的， 我告诉你。 

As a man sows， so he shall reap.  种瓜得瓜， 种豆得豆。

He shall have a bicycle for his birthday.  他可以得到一架自行车作为生日礼物。
