比较级and比较级和moreandmore的区别

区别就是两者用法是不一样的，具体的不同如下。

and 并列的是单音节形容词或副词的比较级，中文意思是越来越……

more and more并列的是双音节(除以y结尾的双音节形容词)或多音节形容词或副词原级。中文意思是越来越……

比较级+ and + 比较级，指的是： 越来越……

如： better and better 越来越多

more 其实也是比较级中的某一种形式变化，如： more and more nervous越来越紧张

（因为nervous要变成比较级，需要加上more）

所以就是： “more and more + 原级”结构，也是指代： 越来越…

例如：More and more old people have capital tied up in a house.

         越来越多老年人的资金全让房子给套牢了

又如:

1、 例句:The city is becoming more and more prosperous. 翻译:这个城市越来越繁盛了。

2、 例句:This district is getting more and more prosperous and bustling. 翻译:这一带越来越繁华了。

特殊用法

1“比较级+and+比较级”和“moreandmore+原级”表示越来越……”，其反义表达为“less and less+原级”。

In many ways my disability has made me more  and  more  independent.在许多方面，我的残疾已使我越来越独立。

2“the+比较级，the+比较级”表示“越……越……”。

The more upset Igot， the  less I was able to concen- trate. 我越是沮丧，就越难以集中精力。

3“more+原级+than+原级”表示“与其说……不如说……”。

The girl was more  frightened than the hurt.与其说这个女孩受伤了，不如说她吓坏了。

4、“morethan+主语+can+谓语”表示“非……所能……不能……”。

The beauty of the city is more  I  can  describe.这座城市的美不是我所能描述的。
